In this section you will find information about Drivers & Middleware enabling the conversion of PBX-specific protocols into the Microsoft Windows world.
The ESTOS ECSTA Series provides professional middleware for PBX and telephone devices with CSTA interface in small and medium-sized companies. The ESTOS ECSTA driver converts the CSTA protocol into Microsoft TAPI. Ths allows the deployment of computer-aided applications such as contact center, Unified Communications, CRM and ERP systems as well as vertical market solutions.
The ESTOS ECSTA 3rd-party TAPI driver series offers professional middleware to connect CSTA-based PBX and telephones for medium and large businesses.
ESTOS has developed professional drivers for the following PBX systems and devices: Siemens Hipath 3000 Familie, Siemens Hipath 4000 Family, Siemens OpenScape Voice Family (ex-Hipath 8000); Aastra MX-ONE and BusinessPhone (ex-Ericsson), Aastra 5000 (ex NexSpan), Aastra 800 (ex OpenComX), Alcatel/Lucent 4400, OXO und OXE, Avaya (ex-NORTEL) CS 1000, snom 3XX und 8XX.
For seamless integration of Microsoft OCS with traditional PBX systems (IP PBX, hybrid, TDM), the ESTOS CallControlGateway software serves as a remote call control interface that can be implemented with the Microsoft OCS platform. This reduces the need to upgrade to new telecommunications infrastructure, extending investment protection for a businesses’ existing communications technology.
The ESTOS TapiServer 2.2 is a client-server-based CTI solution adding Microsoft TAPI-compatible CTI functions to Microsoft Windows networks. The ESTOS TapiServer manages and distributes the TAPI driver of the PBX (e.g. ESTA ECSTA) to all users and computers within the companies' network.
