The ESTOS CallControlGateway allows to control the PBX telephony functions directly from the Microsoft Office Communicator Client, without the need to invest in a new telecommunication infrastructure. This guarantees extended investment protection. Combined with the ESTOS TapiServer the solution offers additional and extended comfort, as it offers intelligent collaboration features for teams.

ESTOS CallControlGateway for Microsoft LCS 2005 / OCS 2007

The middleware, the so called ESTOS CallControlGateway, manages the mapping into the needed new standards SIP and uaCSTA. Because nearly all actual enterprise-telephony systems support the Microsoft TAPI-standard in a case, compatibility can be guaranteed as far as possible. The same applies accordingly to common used CSTA-compliant telephony systems, which do not support SIP and uaCSTA. These systems can be integrated with the ESTOS Call Control Gateway too.

Cost-free Telephony – Helpers for Microsoft Office Communicator.

ESTOS PhoneTools for Communicator

The innovative ‘helpers’ have been developed especially for the Microsoft Office Communicator. To illustrate the strength and competence of ESTOS in computer telephony, in relation to Microsoft United Communications technologies and Microsoft Office 2007, ESTOS will release the new version without charge.

Features:

Hotkey-Dialing
  • Microsoft Communicator Users are now able with Windows programs, e.g. Internet Explorer, to highlight a telephone number and by pressing one key (hotkey) initiate the call. This saves the user the trouble of copying the number. The particular hotkey can be specified by each user.
TAPI Service Provider for outgoing calls
  • The ‘so-called’ Communicator TAPI Service Provider, a special driver, enables dialing from all Microsoft TAPI compatible programs via the Communicator Client. This way already existing applications can be used as well as the telephone functions of the Office Communicator.
