Starnberg software manufacturer receives TOP 100 seal again
estos is once again one of the most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany: The Starnberg-based manufacturer was again named a TOP 100 Innovator in 2023 by compamedia. "This fills us with pride," says Christoph Lösch, Managing Director Innovation and Technology, on behalf of estos GmbH. "It confirms that we offer sustainable, future-oriented solutions for our customers with our software products."
The credo of estos is to make daily communication in companies more efficient with products and solutions. In 2023, the Starnberg-based manufacturer will implement this credo in two ways. On the one hand, it is expanding its products for platforms such as Microsoft Teams, so that users can benefit from a simpler everyday working life. Secondly, it is leading the way with a completely new development: "Voice made easy" is the motto of the cloud PBX functions it is marketing as ProCall Voice Services. This complements the bestseller ProCall Enterprise with business telephony functions. At the same time, it marks the next step into the cloud, which the Starnberg-based company is taking with a more comprehensive offering, UCaaS – Unified Communication as a Service.
"We are particularly pleased that our sister company STARFACE has also been awarded the TOP 100 Seal 2023," adds Christoph Lösch. "It proves that we as a group are truly outstandingly positioned for the future on the topic of Innovation Made in Germany."
On 23 June 2023, the official award ceremony will take place at the German SME Summit in Augsburg. Here, Ranga Yogeshwar will personally congratulate the success.
TOP 100: The competition
For 30 years now, compamedia has been awarding the TOP 100 seal for special innovative strength and outstanding innovation success to medium-sized companies. The project partners are the Fraunhofer Society for the Promotion of Applied Research and the BVMW association of medium-sized businesses.
The competition is based on a scientific selection process. Innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and his team evaluated estos on the basis of more than 100 criteria from five categories: Top Management Promoting Innovation, Innovation Climate, Innovative Processes and Organization, External Orientation/Open Innovation, and Innovation Success. Of particular importance is whether the innovations are systematically planned and therefore repeatable in the future.
