Our colleague Robert Weiß, Senior Director Sales DACH answers the most important questions about our latest product in the following interview.
Robert, ProCall Business was officially released on 25 October 2021. What is the background to the development of the new product?
Our goal is to achieve superior customer satisfaction among end-user companies. The estos Partner Program is also built on this principle. We want to offer our partners and our mutual customers exactly the products they need.
In recent years, technologies have evolved rapidly, and with them, of course, the ProCall Enterprise unified communications & CTI software suite. More complex installations, individual customer requirements – some of our partners are using it to implement large, exciting projects. However, this requires in-depth, technical know-how.
Other partners focus on volume business in smaller expansion stages. Without having to make special configurations and changes to the software, they provide their customers with a convenient communications solution. For these installations for up to 50 users, ProCall Business is the optimal product – a compact communication package, easy to install according to the estos principle "next, next, finished".
What are the main differences to ProCall Enterprise?
ProCall Business offers selected UC and classic CTI functions, such as softphone features, presence management, screen sharing, audio/video communication and instant messaging, and screen sharing. The connection of common PBX systems via TAPI or SIP-based for the office or working at home is already included. The possible integration of up to two local or cloud-based databases ensures the contact integration. Therefore, we offer a smart package with an attractive price-performance ratio.
Licensing is flexible, the basic package contains 5 users and can be extended as desired up to a maximum of 50 users. In contrast to ProCall Enterprise, no changes have to be made to the software. For example, individual call window customization, site networking or the connection of databases outside the defined scope is not possible.
How can our partners and customers test the software?
ProCall Business is marketed exclusively to our partners via our distribution. Interested customers can contact our certified estos partners. They have the option of generating a test license for the customer via their UCConnect account. This allows the customer to test all functions of ProCall Business for 45 days free of charge.
