Since 1st June 2017, ECSTA 5, the new generation of the CTI middleware series, is officially available.
What does the ECSTA series do?
The ECSTA series acts as a middleware and enables communication between the telephone system and the Microsoft Windows world. This makes it possible to control the telephone system and connected telephones from the PC.
Who will be interested in the ECSTA series?
The ECSTA series provides added value, from small companies to group-wide installations. It facilitates daily work steps, for example, by eliminating the need to tap in a telephone number and therefore also minimizing possible sources of error. Through the connection between the telephone system and IT infrastructure using the ECSTA series, e.g. with a Unified Communications software and a CRM, ERP or ticket system, communication processes in the company can be effectively combined and made more efficient.
How is the ECSTA 5 series available?
ECSTA 5 can be obtained directly from us or our sales partners such as ITK Distributors, qualified retailers and trained system integrators.
What features does the new ECSTA 5 series offer?
- Additional support for SIP phones thanks to the new ECSTAs, for Auerswald and Yealink devices
- Improved performance: the phone lines can be read even faster, allowing the software to be configured more quickly
- Increased maintainability: The state of a TAPI line can now be recognized from the driver and reset directly from there
- Optimized user interface
- Future sustainability, as the latest Microsoft Windows operating systems (currently Windows Server 2016) are supported
Which telephone systems are supported?
Almost all well-known manufacturers, such as Unify, Telecom, Mitel, Cisco, Avaya, Alcatel-Lucent or Panasonic, are supported. The multi-site/multi-vendor strategy makes it possible to network telephone systems from different manufacturers at several locations. The ECSTA series also offers easy installation and maintenance.
