A jury headed by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and members such as Frank Thelen or Roland Berger assesses the participating companies according to criteria such as innovation-promoting top management, innovative processes and organization as well as innovation success.

The awards ceremony
estos was particularly successful in the size category B – 51 to 200 employees – in the category "Climate of Innovation". The well-known science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar personally presented the award to Hille Vogel, Division Manager Markets and Customers, and Christoph Lösch, Managing Director Innovation and Technology, at the German SME Summit on 24 June 2022 in the Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt am Main.
