The software manufacturer is represented ten times on partner stands and is showcasing new solutions in Hanover that aim to improve collaboration in small and medium-sized companies in line with the motto “collaborate smarter”.
Starnberg, 9th of February 2012 – Collaborate smarter! All of the solutions that ESTOS is unveiling in association with its partners at CeBIT 2012 follow this maxim. The most important innovations relate to the field of mobility – involving Apps for the iPhone and Android – and are part of the forthcoming product generation from ProCall Enterprise. New desktop sharing functions also help to improve collaboration in small and medium-sized companies. Customers, specialist retail partners and press representatives can experience ESTOS unified communications (UC) modules live in showcases at ten different partner stands. At five partner stands in hall 13, experts from ESTOS will be on hand throughout the entire period of the trade fair to provide in-depth advice – at ALLNET, innovaphone, KOMSA Systems, nfon and Teldat (formerly Funkwerk). The latest solutions in the fields of business process integration, information management, cloud services and federation will be showcased in conjunction with partners. Five further partners will be presenting ESTOS software in the context of their own products.
This year’s CeBIT motto, “Collaborate smarter”, represents improvements in collaboration in small and medium-sized companies thanks to innovative solution modules for unified communications from ESTOS. These include new Apps for the iPhone and Android with functions such as presence management and instant messaging, which the Starnberg-based software manufacturer will be unveiling to the trade and fair public for the first time. With regard to mobility, the ESTOS team will also be on hand to provide information on aspects such as fixed mobile convergence (FMC), one number, bring your own device (BYOD) and mobile device management (MDM), allowing personal mobile terminals to be integrated in a profitable and secure way into everyday professional life. ESTOS is unveiling its new desktop sharing functions for ProCall Enterprise to help optimise communication processes. The UC software will also be supplemented with further federation functions. In addition to the SIP/SIMPLE open standard, ProCall Enterprise will in future also support the XMPP protocol, allowing networking with platforms from Cisco (Jabber) and Google, for example. This will allow presence information and instant messages to be exchanged securely across the entire enterprise.
The latest solutions and valuable practical tips will be available for trade fair visitors in the fields of information management and business process integration too. The latter aims, through the integration of CTI and UC functions in CRM, ERP and specialist applications, to optimise communication-intensive business processes. On the subject of information management, ESTOS will also be delivering a new product version of its LDAP server MetaDirectory. Already an established tool for consolidating and providing contact data distributed across the entire company, it will in future also feature user administration functions and IIS compatibility.
For suppliers of cloud solutions, ESTOS will be presenting specially adapted software modules and services that will allow cloud, IP-Centrex and SaaS solutions to be extended with valuable unified communications and collaboration features – and in particular professional CTI functions.
