First foreign Branch ESTOS Italia Srl founded
Starnberg, Germany - December 09, 2010 – The Unified Communications software vendor ESTOS just announced the founding of ESTOS Italia Srl in Udine, Italy. The opening of this new branch is part of the company’s continued expansion in the region and underscores the area’s importance as a market. The new subsidiary’s CEO is Alessandro Parisi.
For several years, ESTOS has maintained a presence in Italy through strong partners and successfully carried out numerous projects during this time, the latest of which was at the building materials supplier Knauf. As part of its expansion strategy, the Unified Communications software vendor founded its first foreign branch, ESTOS Italia Srl, this November in Udine.
From now on, the subsidiary will be responsible for bringing the ESTOS Unified Communications portfolio to market throughout the entire Mediterranean region. This includes the best-selling Unified Communications software ESTOS ProCall Enterprise as a network solution and ESTOS ProCall One for single-user setups, as well as the ESTOS MetaDirectory LDAP-server and the ECSTA series as middleware (CSTA/TAPI) for all established PBX and PBX enterprise systems. As in all other regions, ESTOS products will be sold indirectly through a network of partners. This includes distributors such as NextMedia, EDSLAN, ASIT and ALLNET, for example, as well as well-known systems integrators such as SurfTech, which specializes in Citrix and terminal servers as well as Ingest for Microsoft Dynamics. Additionally, the areas of hosting and IP Centrex will also become an increasing part of the company’s focus on the international level.
As Managing Director of ESTOS Italia Srl, Alessandro Parisi heads up the branch in Udine and is responsible for regional business activities in the areas of sales, marketing, support and presales. Parisi has been active in the ICT business for more than 20 years and thus possesses a wealth of experience in the area, including the entire ESTOS portfolio. “Especially in the last few quarters, we have experienced a marked increase in demand for classic CTI and Unified Communications products,” says Parisi. “I’m looking forward to this new challenge and am convinced that new and innovative solutions for telecommunications – like Unified Communications, for example – will significantly optimize processes in companies.”
