Launched: The new estos partner program

More satisfaction for the end user company – new categories for Partner.

Long-term business success through higher-than-average satisfaction of the end user company, this is what estos wants to achieve with its partners within the framework of the improved development program. To this end, the software manufacturer has introduced partner categories based on the respective business model of the partner company as well as a recertification. On the other hand, estos supports the partner in phases of the customer journey offering a suitable package of measures for customer consulting, acquisition and retention. The partner program was launched in mid-July. In order to enable a smooth transition for the approximately 2,500 partners in the DACH region, there will be a transition phase until the end of the year.

The categories: Business, Expert and Competence

estos will no longer divide its partners into stages. Resellers will now assign themselves to one of three categories based on their business model: The estos Business Partner supports end user companies in the selection of estos products in high-volume business. They can advise on licensing issues and mainly carry out standardized installations. The estos Expert Partner is primarily active in the integration business. The company realizes projects in larger expansion stages. For example, they implement site networking as well as the connection of databases and functional extensions. The estos Competence Partner in turn is active in the individual solution business: They adapt the estos software products to the individual needs of their customers.

Trainings, webinars and websites

In the future, estos will consistently offer training courses that provide the necessary knowledge for the respective business model. Additional webinars and helpful information on technology, sales and marketing support the partner in the individual phases of the customer journey. estos has also introduced a new partner portal with exclusive content with the launch of the partner program: At my.estos.de partners can find for example commercially oriented materials, book training courses or check software licenses. At support.estos.de technical articles are provided as help for self-help, through which partners can continuously expand their know-how.

Qualification and certification

Through the participation of employees in a training course, including a performance record, they receive their individual personal qualification certificate. Especially in the transition phase, this entitles the use of the new partner logos and the listing on estos websites. Once the associated company has met all requirements of the program, it will be certified. For example, partners must name customers who participate in satisfaction surveys and create reference reports or videos. The certification is valid for two years. Afterwards a recertification takes place.

The background 

The previous program has existed successfully for more than six years: estos was able to establish more than 2,500 registered and certified partners in the DACH region. Nevertheless, it is now time to expand the program, explains Hille Vogel, Head of Markets and Customers at estos: "Since its introduction, our portfolio has expanded enormously in terms of functionality and application possibilities. Our partners pursue very different business models on the basis of our products, which we had not previously considered in this way."
