With immediate effect, further PBXs are available to ProCall Enterprise softphone users: after extensive and successful tests, estos has officially released the STARFACE telephone systems for use with the softphone. "With this, we are once again offering our customers a bit more flexibility in the choice of their PBX," explains Florian Bock, Managing Director of estos GmbH. "This is in line with our MultiVendor strategy: As an independent manufacturer, we are constantly increasing the number of PBXs that we approve for connection with our software."
In its portfolio, STARFACE has three variants of telephone systems: A hardware appliance, a cloud PBX and a VM edition. The physical telephone systems are installed locally in the company and are designed for 3 to 3,000 users. The cloud PBX is hosted on German servers in compliance with the GDPR and is designed for an unlimited number of users. The VM Edition is suitable for anyone who would like to host and administer their own IP PBX.
estos has tested the SIP-based softphone integrated in ProCall 7 Enterprise with all three variants: The functions can be used without restrictions. This means that users of STARFACE systems can now also make phone calls directly via the PC, regardless of location. They can easily and securely start and end, reject, hold or forward calls, for example, using a headset and laptop. Convenience functions such as call waiting with toggling, Do not Disturb or Busy on Busy are also available.
