- Fax messages appear as an e-mail in the inbox with a PDF file attachment
- Faxes are sent by opening a new e-mail window
- The "voice" function provides a software-based answering machine. Messages can be conveniently listened to via the telephone or PC with sound card and processed like e-mails
- Short messages to an appropriate address can also be sent simply via "new e-mail"

Client tools: The fax printer driver included in the client tools makes it possible to send faxes from all Windows programs that have a printing function.

ixi-UMS Business offers integration into the Unified Communications & CTI software suite ProCall Enterprise. This gives users a comprehensive Unified Messaging, Unified Communications & CTI software suite. You can initiate faxes directly from the ProCall client and be informed about new fax messages in the Summenbubble. The voice mailbox can be configured via ProCall and the ixi-UMS Journal can be managed in the client.
